Gone Fishing...

Today we lost a friend, a colleague, an educator, a beautiful person from our lives. Mimi was inconsolable and cooried into my arms tears flooding and uncontrollable sobs, the kind of sobs that hurt your chest.

Fraser, in his own way, was hurting but was very philosophical as we talked about Jill and what she had meant to the twins and to us. Fraser said I will miss her smile, she was like the sun when she smiled. I could not put it any better.

I have often said we never forget those people who taught us and who gave of themselves, gave above and beyond what was required, As we will remember so too, in half a lifetime, the twins will remember fondly a gentle soul.

The shot doesn't matter today but its just a little fishing boat plying her trade on our river in the late autumn sun
