Glasgow 2014- Tales of the Riverbank

This was the first day of a course in the Strathclyde University Centre for Lifelong Learning Programme focusing on the development of Glasgow linked to its many waterways. It promises to be an interesting course and as someone very much more familiar with the east of Scotland and with Edinburgh I am keen to learn more about Glasgow and its history.
This blip is of a contemporary painting in the tutorial room of part of the riverbank of the Clyde showing the Crowne Plaza Hotel, the concert venue called the Armadillo and the SSE Hydro.
