Stories seen through a glass plate
Reeves photographic studio in Lewes is believed to be the oldest continuously operated photographic studio in the world having opened in 1855. As part of the Brighton Photo Biennial some of the 100,000+ images from its archives are on display in 80 lightboxes placed in the shops and businesses around town where the original images were taken. I particularly liked this one in the window of Iconic Computers where the Lewes Odeon once stood.
