Shadows at Union Canal

It was another bright autumnal day in Edinburgh; great for walking and photography. This is the end of the Union Canal near Fountainbridge. Now the sun is lower in the sky the contrast between shadow and bright areas is much greater and this gives better silhouettes than in the summer and is going to be a theme in the next wee while.
