Needle in a Haystack

A few weeks ago, on one of our walks, SwissPiper lost her favourite cap (a fetching pink colour) which upset her. So today Piper and I decided to try and find it, we knew it was a bit of a long shot but you don't know until you try. So with eyes peeled but in heavy cloud and persistent rain we set off back along our route. We searched everywhere both in probable and improbable places but alas alack found no trace of the cap; it is probably lining some Marmot's burrow by now. Finally two very wet, defeated individuals headed off down to home.
