Another leisurely start to the day and we decided it would be nice to take J to a local hostelry. This is one of our favourite places and lunch was delicious. He seemed to enjoy the food - especially the cheese soufflé starter.

After this we went to Abbot Hall in Kendal for a look around.

We passed this field of cows on the way to Kendal.
