Shorncliffe Jetty

Had a few hours off this morning before the next appointment, so I dropped by Shorncliffe beach and saw this amazing architecture built many many years ago.

Shorncliffe Jetty unfortunately is needing much urgent repair due to unsound wooden structure. According to the signage, works should be completed by 2016. It is a government project, so nothing is happening :-(

The sun was getting quite warm this morning (29C). I hate to see what summer brings..hot and humid......
