Who Ate All the Bird Seed Then?

The blue jays are getting bolder. No longer do they fly away at the merest hint of movement from inside the house - instead, they are perpetually at the bird feeder, stuffing themselves with sunflower seed and corn. I suspect that they are stashing it away for the winter months. The juncos have arrived too - another sure sign of fall. What they lack in size they make up for by their sheer numbers and the bird seed is disappearing pretty fast these days!
