BEE in BLACK & WHITE

This unusual black and white bee came dressed for the Mono-Monday challenge. Sorry Charlie, that was yesterday! With the way his wings and eyes beautifully pick up the purple of the flower, I wouldn’t have posted him in black & white anyway. I couldn’t determine which type of bee this is – maybe a leaf-cutter bee? Please let me know if you recognize it.

Did I mention today was a beautiful, sunny day? It seemed wonderful after days of dreary, rainy weather.
