If I Could Paint Like Karla Pearce...

I wouldn't need lessons
or DVD's or books
I wouldn't need a social
calendar or a television guide
I wouldn't need my quilting fabric
or my sewing machine
I would just sit in front of my
easel by the windows
and fill one canvas after
another until I ran out of paint
or supports and had to go
shopping for more so I could just
sit in front of my
easel by the windows...
