Rosehips

It looks like it is going to be a bumper harvest of rosehips this year. I should really cut them off and do something exciting with them like this but I suspect study may get in the way!

I wonder if you can use any old rosehips or if they need to be a specific variety? This stuff reminds me of visiting my grandma's when I was little. A mug of this with hot water was magical first thing in the morning when it was frosty outside.
