The Blue Ridge Mountains

Just the northern tip of them--the foothills, really. A morning hike up to Mary's Rock, which darap and zoemond will remember, and a leisurely trip back to DC. All in all, a perfect weekend.

No bears yet...maybe the bear a month ago gave us a false sense of hope. Still, it's not like not seeing a bear ruined the weekend.
