Hot Toddy

This morning, like every morning, I walked over to the shop in the village for my morning paper. On the way I usually stop for a chat with the Lollipop Lady on the main road near the village school. This morning I mentioned to her that W had come down with a cold so was feeling a bit poorly. "Ah!"' she said, "she should take plenty of that Euthanasia"! Now, I don't know about you, but that seems a little bit drastic just to deal with a common cold. I do hope she meant 'echinacea'!

It's also said that Lemsip is good for a cold, but why bother with that when a good hot toddy will have the same effect?
