I think, must check. The gales around the Northern Isles over the last day have driven a couple of oil-rig supply ships into Kirkwall Bay for shelter.

I went to check the Peedie Sea to check for new arrivals..there were 20 long-tailed ducks probably newly-flown in from the far north. They were submerging constantly suggesting that they were feeding furiously after battling through the elements.
