Esk at Edzell

Susan and I went to Edzell to visit the castle - and it was shut! So we improvised with a walk over the Shakin' Brig and found this lovely spot. We sat and watched wagtails and a dipper going about their entrancing business, a lovely way to spend the afternoon.

It seems there's lots more to see along the river so we'll be back :)
