The Bus Station, Liverpool One

This journey is finally over. It's taken over a week on blip, but in real life it's only about half an hour. This new station is at the back of the Hilton. How convenient!

There are two main companies operating the buses in Liverpool. One is Stagecoach which was founded by Brian Souter, who is the major shareholder. He has made substantial donations to the SNP and also spent a very large sum trying to prevent the repeal of the infamous Section 28 of the Local Government Act (clause 2A in Scotland). The other bus company is Arriva.

No time to stop for pictures today, as I have to get ready for a train journey. The destination should be obvious on Thursday, but there is a connection with today's blip.
