Rainbows
A true rainbow forms at an angle of 42 degrees when the sun is behind the observer. The red spectrum is at the top of the rainbow. In a double rainbow, the red is at the bottom of the colour spectrum, at an angle of 53 degrees, and is caused by secondary reflection through the raindrops.
I only learnt this recently. learning shouldn't finish when you leave school.
