Mono Monday - shadows

After a spectacular sunrise (most definitely a Shepherd's warning!), the sky quickly became leaden grey and the rain began. It did stop briefly in the afternoon, but here in West Essex the sun failed to put in an appearance at all....so that meant NO chance of a shadow picture created with natural light!
A surprising number of my Mono Monday blips end up being 'created' on the kitchen table with the aid of a lamp or two and this is where I took this shot today: I would like to have tried hand shadow puppets but couldn't photograph them properly, so here instead, is a rather motley trio of shadow figures, consisting of a cat figurine, an artist's wooden figurine and a small cow creamer!
