Wonderings

This afternoon's wonderings took me care of Rotorua Cemetery, to pay my respects to a loved friend and old neighbour, who left us a year ago today, to cancer.

This lady has known me since I was 7 and has lived next door to Ma and Pa, since they moved into our family home, 35 years ago.

We all had jobs when Paul went. Mine was to sort out the images for her order of service and touch up the odd mark and blimish on the photos. An image Id taken on the night of her and Bernies 50th Wedding anniversary, was the image chosen for the front. What an honor.

Ma did her flowers, with rosemary (flower of remembrance) loving cut from the bush at my house and Pa helped with her coffin.

A special lady, who will never be forgotten by our family, who Im sure was up there today having a wee chardie with us all.
