Not shy, not even a little bit

Happy 6th Birthday to my Alexander Ray! Here is a picture of Alex in front of his class as the teacher stepped away and they had just finished singing "Happy Birthday" to him. He was hamming it up and enjoying the encouraging responses he was getting from his classmates. "Do it again, Alex. . . do it again!" Oh Alex.

Here are a few more pictures from his day. Kept our birthday tradition going with an early morning wake-up, cake and presents in bed . . . although, he was already awake and waiting for us with excitement and anticipation. Grandma brought by a huge number 6 balloon before school that promptly made it's way to the highest ceiling in out house. {5 days later, that balloon hasn't dropped an inch.} Mommy visited Alex at school with paper airplanes for his class. Alex's choice of Spaghetti for dinner and an ice cream sundae bar for dessert made for a pretty good overall day for my sweet boy. Cheers to 6!
