Welcome

There are two of these concrete bears at the top of the hill overlooking the wharf. They've been there forever. The Hitchcockian house in the background is actually a very nice bed and breakfast.

Footnote: we saw whales from the cliffs again late this afternoon, and a row of leaping dolphins. I did get a photo of a whale's tail smacking the water, but it is only recognizable if I tell you what it is, whereas the image of the bear speaks for itself.
