Shaft tailed Whydah (Vidua regia)

I saw him again this afternoon!! But his ladyfriend was not there yet, so he just sat high up in the tree, waiting! Isn't he just too beautiful for words?

I had to walk a wee bit earlier today, had an appointment with a lady regarding my medical aid membership. I am sure he was dancing for "her" again, as soon as I left!! Eisch!!

Wish I had a bigger and stronger lens to capture him!! He is só high, and actually such a small bird, he is just the size of an average yellow finch.
