Truckee River

Or what's left over of it after a long summer. I have never seen the water this low.
Here I cut out the blue sky and the top of the hills to accentuate the river bed with all the grey boulders , shining nearly white in the sunlight. Sorry , can't find the picture from last October on my laptop so you can't compare, but there should be one somewhere in my journal. Just in your mind add about a foot in water height, (around 30 cm).

Great lunch with a friend, hot walk with the dog in too much sun. 85 degrees.
