Central Paris

Had a morning meeting at CDG airport, then grabbed a taxi into the centre of Paris. The CEO of the company we were meeting had a morning session - as he is a director of Lyon football club.

Had a very nice lunch at his favourite bistro. Being French - lunch was important and social - with no business chat. An incredibly interesting man (I had mentioned his plane collection before). He showed us even more of his collection, including a WWII bomber, a DC3 Dakota (used to ferry the Queen Mother to and from Canada during the war).

He had also done some spectacular publicity with his Catalina Flying boat - he had it put in the Place de la Concorde and had 40 air france staff photographed on the wings in the uniforms throughout their history.

He plan for promotng the new company would be to put the demo kit in the back of the plane and fly it round to strategic locations throughout the world.

I think I want to do business with him!

We finished with short walk - and a couple of blips of the Louvre and Eifell Tower.

So back to the competition...

Well done Goretex - three countries right AND right order.
