Home To Roost
I so wish I had more time tonight.
After a thoroughly miserable wet morning, the weather did what Scotland excels at; it went totally the opposite way and became a glorious afternoon and evening.
On the way home from gymnastics, and on a tight schedule to get everyone fed in a 20 minute window, the sun decided to put on an amazing light show as it slowly crept down to the horizon.
No time for filters, tripods or even a lens change as I parked the car and leapt out.
Even Niamh was amazed by the spectacle and didn't roll her eyes in exasperation.
She did have to wait until the boys had been dropped off at drama to be fed though...
This was a tricky Blip as I squeezed in 30 shots and caught a few with the geese coming in. I preferred the lonely crow making its way home to roost...
