Busy on Swan Lake

OK, prepare for take off!

So many swans were on the Illarsaz gravel pit lake this morning, where they over-winter. It must have been a very successful breeding season. They seemed to be doing flying practice, at least three groups took off then landed further on, while I watched from the reed bed. Shame I had to leave to go shopping!
