Today we gathered to collect migration data for BirdLife Europe. Crazy stormy weather meant we didn't get a huge turnout but once the storm blew over we had about 30 keen birders / BirdLife staff / volunteers hanging out at Buskett for a few hours counting birds. We also played games, that were designed for children, but a lack of families showing up after the thunder and lightening meant we played them instead, with a couple of token kids.
