Treemare!

This chap lives outside my flat. Every night it tries to scare the bejesus out of me.

Today was no different. Today it has moved next to a wall, set up some sodium lights to set the scene and has waited patiently for me to appear. This tree is getting more imaginative every week. It wasn't always this cunning though.

It used to just take a swipe at me with its branches every time I passed. Plain old physical violence. Now it is dabbling in psychological warfare. It is evolving. It's getting smarter.

I may have to destroy it before it develops language skills. Can't have it calling me names as well. That wouldn't do at all.
