Hallam

No time for reflection today. It was my turn to accompany Tom on a University Open Day to Sheffield Hallam (Beck did Leicester last week and is lined up for Leeds and Manchester to so it was only fair that I got the odd one that fell on a Sunday – the girls went to Meadowhall instead for a bit of ‘retail therapy.’) It was actually pretty exhausting, too – going to the various subject talks, trying to take it all in, finding our way around, worrying about my son’s future, etc., etc… There wasn’t much time for Photo’s either – this is the multi-storey opposite the School of Business. Later on we had to drive over to Derby to see Kate Rusby on the last night of Derby Folk Festival – she was playing in a tent in the courtyard next to the Assembly Rooms, where the Festival is normally held but which are currently (possibly permanently) closed due to a fire they had there recently…
