Best of the day!

Having seen the forecast for today I was pleasantly surprised this morning to be doing early duties with the dogs in the dry. When I saw this pre dawn glow coming up behind the Wolds skyline I just had to dive back in the house and grab the big camera to do it justice.
The rest of the day was dire! or dreich as my Scottish friends would say. Windy and much cooler. Just after work (confined to the workshop, no fieldwork today :) ) it did stop raining but is still windy cold and nearly dark !
