Mono Monday

Wet and miserable. Gosh, that's a good start, downbeat already.

I missed the Wren having a splash around in the bird bath in the pouring rain but I did photograph a female Greater Spotted Woodpecker on the nuts.

However, reluctantly I have decided to join the Mono Monday "Shadows" challenge hosted by Skeena. Some of you will know I have an aversion to b&w, but I'm being very brave.
