la font d'aigua potable
In the grounds of the Palau Reia just off the Avinguda Diagonal there is a little dragon-shaped fountain in the middle of a little bamboo forest. Out of all the public-access water sources we tried it was the only really drinkable one... the stuff from Pl. Felipe Neri, La Seu and even the allegedly mountain-freshpipe in Montserrat all tasted excessively minerally. A nice little secluded setting to rest in before heading back into town through the muggy tube to La Pedrera. Plenty of photos of that but I chose this seeing as it's not available in postcard form unlike almost every aspect of any Gaudí entity.
The building itself houses the ceramics museum (meh apart from a couple of bits of Míro) and the Museum of the Decorative Arts (quite interesting though the 20th+ century section is way too small) but they don't let ypu wander round the main bit of the grounds where all the interesting statues are.
