War Weekend

Rain stopped play today. Finally had to take the dog out for a walk. We both ended up wet and bedraggled.

Pickering is readying itself for a 'War Weekend' this coming weekend. The station has already got its Air Raid Shelter and posters ready for the many visitors. This one is at the main gates and at least provided some colour on a dark and dismal day.

Unfortunately we will be a away in Scotland for the main event but no doubt will get a few blips of the build up. Just hope we can get back home on Sunday as streets are often closed for the various re-enactments!
