On my way (BackBlip)

Left the UK yesterday evening at 21.25 by the time we shot into the air. Arrived shortly after 0700 Oman time.
Great flight with regard to service, food, attentiveness and gadgets but you can never sleep in Economy so today (backblipping don't forget) everyone is very tired).
It was too early to check in when we arrived so there was a trip to the Sultan Qaboos grand Mosque, and grand it certainly is. Might be blipping one of the photos I took later when sorted out.
Then visited a Christian cemetery where some servicemen are buried after being killed in the 70's during the Radfan rebel problems. Some poppy in memoriam crosses were laid and an Irish flag on one of them that came from Wexford.

Lovely lunch, shower and now debating whether to go for a walk or a sleep!

Have to be up early in the morning for a trip to Nizwah.

Forgot to mention, when we landed we then disembarked at 0725 into 30 degrees of heat. It's now early afternoon and getting on for 40 degrees C.

Oh, and another 'by the way', Rubber Willy's head came off so bought some superglue at WH Smiths in LHR and he's now complete, just a bit of a scar around the neckline.
