The Dunsden Ploughing Match.

We attempted to get up & out the house early today, it didn't happen as Grace refused to get dressed. This is a regular battle that ends with a struggle with cries from Grace of "I don't like socks" "I don't like vest"

A beautiful morning to go to the Dunsden Ploughing Match. Grace loves Tractors & there were lot & lots of beautiful old ones in many different colours all ploughing there own strip of land in the straightest line they could, waiting to be judged.
Lots to see & do, a very bumpy trailer ride to see all the different tractors around the fields, ducks & chickens, ferret & terrier racing & of course ice cream. A fun packed morning that Rose slept through.

In the afternoon Aunty Marion & Uncle John & Tim popped by for tea (they were down visiting Tim & Louise's wedding venue Nr Reading) It was Marion & Johns first visit to Shiplake, we showed them round the house & garden. Grace showed them most of her toys, books & hair clips...
