On the road again

On our way to see the rare White Herons at Whataroa on the South Island West Coast . First stop Wanaka,to pick up a copy of Snow In The Lindis (fabulous looking book written by fellow blipper snowy) then on to Haast. So many stops along the way to walk through the pristine native bush,gasp at the height of the waterfalls and get your first sandfly bite . . ouch! So today's collage is a selection of the wonders we saw today . . .can anyone tell me is bottom right Greenstone? The flower is the native NZ clematis,which was just dripping from the trees,so beautiful. What's for dinner tonight . . . hmm let me think . . have to be whitebait won't it?!
