Chilly Day

Today after a skype date with nana and poppa Lincoln went on his first road trip all the way to Rangiora! We had lunch with a friend who works out there. Those who know her will be able to tell who pretty easily from that hair. The weather was pretty scary and I had to grip the steering wheel tight because we were getting blown around. And visibility was shocking because it was raining so hard. Possibly my scariest open road trip.

On the way back into town we stopped off to drop some 'little shops' in to my niece to help her collection. We ended up staying for coffee. A very nice way to warm up. She was in the middle of some epic lego building that my husband would be jealous of.

Then it was home for a lazy finish to the day. Lincoln crashed after too much playing again.
