You take the High Road

Only 4 of us braved the wet weather that was forecast, and we headed to the most sheltered walk that we have in this area.  The Outlet to Albert Town.  We were prepared for the wet windy weather, but as soon as we set out the rain clouds cleared, and we found ourselves walking in the lovely sunshine.  I took this photo before the sun came out amongst the kanuka trees.  
We drove back to the meeting place, and had our lunch sitting in the nice warm sun by the lake.  I think that gardening is on their agenda for this afternoon.
