Bush Fire.

I've actually zoomed into this, so it's not that close. But if the day had been very windy, or the wind blowing in our direction, it might have been another story.

I first noticed the smoke at about 4pm, looked on a local website to see it had been reported at 3.30, and wasn't considered dangerous. By 5.30 we could actually see the flames.

That's when I started thinking, how long it would take me to grab all the photographs and essential paperwork to put in the car. And then there were the cats, we only have one cat basket (I'll have to get another one). Neo would have to go in that, as he's a bit nervous, and Sophia we could just throw in the back of the car.

Luckily it didn't come to this, but it makes you think about what could happen.
