Viewing the Forth Bridges

A visit to The Forth Replacement Crossing Contact and Education Centre, located at South Queensferry. The Centre is open every Saturday from 10 am - 4 pm until the end of October, and then from Spring 2015.

A great view of the Rail and Road Bridges, and very interesting displays and models of the new Queensferry Crossing, with engineers on hand to answer all our questions.

We then walked down to the pedestrian and cycle path, and under the subway to the west side, to view the construction of the new bridge. I had hoped to use one of these shots, but even with fast shutter speed there is still some blur in the images, due to the movement on the bridge itself. We plan to go again in the spring to view ongoing progress.
