Working out the rules

Then it's a mere matter of applying them.

I think the no cats on dining table rule is going to be vital - well, when people are there at least. Otherwise meal times and those times when I am trying to work there (rather than in the upstairs office) are going to be problematic.

9.30 pm seems to be the start of a frantic hour or so of play, chasing - even noisier now that they've 2 flights of stairs to incorporate. Who knew that a lot of fun could be had with a ping pong ball under a wicker laundry basket lid?

No doubt a cat and mouse picture will follow, but from the office I hope. They've just found me here and I had an anxious moment as one tried to climb the exercise ball I am sitting on. Wonder how easily these gym balls puncture....?

Very very slow progress on dissertation work. Oh well. September submission next year is an option if I don't make Feb. One step at a time.
