Nice spot of lunch

This had to be the photo of the day today. Lunch at the Houses of Parliament, thanks to a school reunion lunch, hosted by an 'old girl' who happens to be an MP.

We had a drinks reception on the terrace before lunch but it was pouring with rain so everyone stayed under cover. I had to nip out into the rain to get this photo though (heavily manipulated as it was a really dreich day).

It was really nice to spend a few hours in the company of others from my school, though only 3 people from my year were there.

Nina and I were joined later on by Jane & Suzie, who couldn't get down from Edinburgh in time for the lunch. We went out for a fabulously long dinner and blether. It's probably about 30 years since the 4 of us have been out together!
