The Sticky Toffee Stop

We left Kendal this morning on the last leg of our journey home but stopped off at Low Sizergh Barn Farm Shop to buy some Sticky Toffee Pudding to take back to the Stay-at-Homes.

The drive back was full of rich Autumn colour but frustrating every time we got stuck behind a trailer, tractor, tanker... or, at one point, a steam engine.

Happily, though, I made it home in time to dash into Cardiff and catch up with a friend who was down from North Wales to run in today's Cardiff Half Marathon.
