The statue of the Sock Man stands in Loughborough town centre
It's of a naked man sitting on a bollard wearing only a sycamore leaf and a knitted sock. The sock is a nod to the hosiery trade, once plentiful in Loughborough and the bollard depicts scenes in and around the area. Judging by the shiny areas on the statue he's quite well loved......
