Thoughts of a Mummy

Fun at the Farm

We had a lovely day celebrating a friend's daughters birthday.

We went to Stonehurst Farm in Mountsorrel. The girls got to feed cows, sheep, goats, a donkey and a horse, whilst also petting rabbits and guinea pigs.

All four girls got to have a ride on a pony and they absolutely loved it. Aj was the funniest, as even though she wore the smallest hat available, the movement of the horse made her had move and by the time she got back to us, the hat had fallen over her eyes and she was trying to look down to see past the hat! When the hat was lifted, she had the biggest grin on her face. :)

The farm had a great barn for the kiddies to play in, which was literally bales of straw stacked in the barn with some rope fastened to the rafters. Kids and adults had fun playing around.

DM and Ruby remembered having been there before (July last year to be exact).

It's family days like these that I love the most and it's for that reason that we have asked our family for days out tickets for Christmas presents.

This year we have asked our family to buy us tickets to any one of a variety of theme parks, farm parks and places of interest, as our Christmas gift.

We believe that as a family, we will make more memories and our girlies will get more experience from being a family and having days out together than as they would from a toy.

Having four girls, I'm sure you can imagine, we have an abundance of toys, hair clips, toiletries and crafts. And being a large family, going on days out can often be an expensive day for us.

What better way to make Christmas last the whole year, than by us using our Christmas gifts throughout the year at different locations?
