Shrimp

The Cygnet was really getting into his gardening club this morning and really got the whole 'Bug Hotel' thing (he has seen them when he went pond dipping) and loved making one from a plastic bottle and some cardboard.
He also enjoyed his lunch - especially the sausages in bacon that he conned out of the woman.
I enjoyed his lunch too because there was far too much for any child to eat - a real bargain for £2.20.

The Grand Prix was entertaining (apart from the accident that put a driver in hospital with serious head injuries of course).

Woodturning went not too badly (at least it didn't fly off the lathe and try to kill me today).
Now I just have to hope the big one doesn't split and the smaller one doesn't split any more ............ I have been adventurous and made a bowl that already has a big split in it -- as a feature. It may require a couple of butterflies inserted to make sure it doesn't open any more. That will be a first for me too.
