Calais

A long day's driving, but little traffic on the road. We drove through rain but, by the time we arrived in Calais, it was sunny. We went straight down to the sea and walked along the sands. It had obviously been a lovely day, judging by the number of footprints in the sand and the stream of traffic leaving the front. The setting sun was making the beach luminous and the few people remaining into silhouettes.

A long day and intermittent wifi. I will catch up with everyone when we get back home tomorrow.
