Shiny new wheels

Excited littlest one as he got to try Granddad's new tractor for size, it fits. Another wee excitement while we were there as one of the dairy cows went down after calving with milk fever. She, of course, chose the most awkward ditch to do it in and the coldest, windiest field! Was chuffed that I managed, with a few instructions, to administer a couple of bottles of calcium and with help of some ropes, the land rover and the kids strength get her rolled over and up. Easy for Mr L but not something I do everyday! Anyway, healthy looking calf and mum back to health too.

Unfortunately, wee Puddles who has also been poorly passed away this afternoon. Now buried in the garden and some new fancy tulip bulbs planted alongside.
