Hummingbird Cake

During the week, Jamie Oliver did a Hummingbird cake and of course Fran declared that I should make one...... and here is my effort.

The only time Fran interfered was her telling me to put more cream in the middle. As a dutiful husband I did as I was told, however, once the top sponge went on top, I fell victim of splurge!

Other than that and the fact it may be a little too sweet, it was very nice.
