Street Food

We arrived in Guilin on Wednesday and went straight into the centre of town for a look around. It was the first day of the Chinese national holiday so it was very busy everywhere but there was a really good holiday atmosphere and most people were making the most of the amazing street food on offer. I took this photo in a street devoted to barbecued skewered meats. At only 10 RMB (about a pound) for five skewers, I made sure we went back there after a couple of beers to sample to produce. I think they were pork, although you never really know in China!
